Over the past day, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled the attacks of the occupiers in the areas of twenty-five settlements. Among them – Masyutivka, Kharkiv region; Pidkuychansk, Dibrova and Bilogorivka in the Luhansk region and Verkhnyokamyansk, Vesele, Yakovlivka, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Vodyane, Pisky, Nevelske, Maryinka, Novomykhailivka and Prechistivka in the Donetsk region.
At the same time, the enemy launched 5 missile and 16 air strikes, as well as 61 attacks from rocket salvo systems. As a result, the civilian infrastructure was heavily damaged and the civilian population of the cities of Kherson, Kostyantynivka and Vovchansk suffered.
The danger of air and missile attacks remains on the entire territory of Ukraine.
There were no significant changes in the Volyn and Poliske directions, and no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected.
On the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, the enemy fired artillery at the positions of our troops in the areas of sixteen settlements. In particular, these are Mykhalchyna Sloboda in Chernihiv region and Vilcha, Vesele, Vovchansk, Vovchanski Khutory, Varvarivka, Vilkhuvatka and Dvorichna in Kharkiv region. Also, the enemy used an attack UAV and army aviation near Krasny, Kharkiv region.
On the Kupyansk and Lymansk directions, the areas of the settlements of Novomlynsk, Kupyansk, Kislivka, Kotlyarivka and Krokhmalne of the Kharkiv region and Stelmakhivka, Makiivka, Ploshanka, Chervonpopivka and Dibrova of the Luhansk region were hit by fire.
In the Bakhmut and Avdiiv directions, the enemy continues to conduct assault operations. Tanks and artillery shelled our positions in the areas of more than twenty settlements. Among them are Verkhnokamyanske, Spirne, Belogorivka, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Dilyivka, Vodyane, Nevelske, Maryinka and Novomykhailivka of the Donetsk region. Airstrikes were carried out in the areas of Spirny and Bilogorivka.
In the direction of Novopavlivsk, the enemy fired tanks and various caliber artillery at the positions of our troops near Vugledar, Prechistivka, and Velika Novosilka, Donetsk region.
In the Zaporizhzhya and Kherson directions, the enemy continues shelling the areas of Biloghirya, Kamianske and Mali Shcherbaki settlements in the Zaporizhia region and Novodmytrivka, Kamianske, Respublikanets, Novoberislav, Ponyativka, Kherson, Mykilske, Sadov and Antonivka in the Kherson region.
On December 19, fire damage was confirmed in the area where the occupying forces and equipment were concentrated in the Kherson region, in the Vasylivka district. 8 units of heavy military equipment of various types were destroyed. Information on casualties is being clarified.
Since December 12, the Russian occupation forces have been preparing for the forced evacuation of Ukrainian citizens living in the city of Vasylivka and nearby settlements of the Vasylivka district of the Zaporizhzhya region.
During the past day, the aviation of the Defense Forces made 10 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment and 12 strikes on the positions of the enemy’s anti-aircraft missile systems.
Units of the missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces of Ukraine hit the ammunition depot, 3 control points and 10 areas of concentration of the occupiers’ manpower.
